About nocfinder.
An independent Canadian tool that matches the duties of a job to the right NOC 2021 code, and shows which duties back up the match.
What we do
Every Canadian work permit, permanent residence and LMIA application asks for a NOC code. Picking it from a job title alone is how people end up with the wrong one. nocfinder compares the duties you actually did, or the duties in a job ad, with the main duties of all 516 NOC 2021 unit groups, and shows the codes that fit with the reasons behind each match.
We build it for three groups: people finding their own NOC, immigration consultants and lawyers working on client files, and employers hiring from abroad.
What we are not
nocfinder is an information tool. We are not affiliated with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), and we don’t give legal or immigration advice. You choose the code you use. For advice on your own case, talk to a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC) or a lawyer.

- Delete your account and the information linked to it

- Ask how your information is used and who processes it
We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
